"O.k, the way I see it, there is a way to save his life." said Charlie "Chardude" Firestone, the INFERNO scientist. "He can be revived with organic-cybernetics using firestone enrgy. He'll be stronger too, and I can't think of a downside."

"Do it." said Red Baron weakly. "I want to live to get revenge on those damned Rockets."

"If he wants it, it'll be good enough for me. Let's go to the waiting room while the good doctor performs the operation." Incinerator and pals left. The look on incinerator's face indicated pure sadness. Misty went to comfort him.

"You must really care about you're Pokemon. Even if you are criminals..." she was interrupted by Ash.

'"Something didn't seem right about that plan. Jessie is in charge of that unit, and that wasn't something she would do. Or even Meowth. It was sickeningly evil. No, it can't be."

"What is it?" asked Brock, pushing for information. "You're not saying it was James' idea, are you?"

"I think that's exactly what he was saying, and I believe him. I'm pretty sure he was feigning that romantic coward front. I felt something evil about him when I first saw him."

"James, I know him." said the criminal looking up. "Me and him went to Pokemon Tech together. We was good friends, but we got seperated when he was kicked out. He spent a lot of time with that Jessie chick too. We were different then too. He always wore the Uniform and obeyed the rules, where I was a rule breaker and wore leather jackets, offensive T-Shirts, and more. I also went there with Mad Dog. He became a Nam vet, then joined the gang after passing Pokemon tech. I hid my diploma, and went to fight the GYM leaders for extra experience. I can't believe he'd do this to me!" Incinerator's eyes began to glow, but returned to normal. "Anyway, you're young and need sleep. You go get some sleep. I'll stay.

Ash and pals must have been deaf, as they stayed up. At 11:00, Onix was O.K, with no cybernetics. Brock figured Charlie could cure him too. At 3:00 AM, Red Baron came out. His robo-eye had a built in aiming laser, and in place of his severed arm, was a robotic Titanium claw. On his other hand was a gun-arm. his foot was also replace by a mechanical one. His wings got a complete overhaul, and were replaced by Rocket powere ones. He still wore his leather jacket and flight cap. He also had a chest wound, and it was covered by a breastplate, with the INFERNO logo on it, and in the skull's eyes were firestones. Red Baron and the INFERNO leader hugged.

"Thanks for stayin' kids. I'll see you in the Pokemon league." Ash bid their new friend farewell. he then realized, maybe they were not villains, but heroes, fighting for justice and the downfall of evil. They just used other methods. For example, the Rebels from Star Wars were criminals, but they were good guys. The empire was law and order, and the rebellion was against the law. Maybe the superior force is the evil force this time. He smiled, and left the base, while being saluted by the INFERNO troops.

"James, you are hereby declared Team Rocket leader for the duration of the Gangwar. I'm sorry for not noticing you had great potential." spoke Giovanni.

"Don't mention it boss! Thsi place will have great things happening!" James replied wearing his snappiest suit. He spoke an announcment into the intercom:

"Greeting worms! It's me, James! I have been declared leader! Now, you will obey me! We are to work on a great war machine to crush the INFERNOS, then dominate this entire damn island! I will gut the fish that dares stand up to this myself. If work is slow, I will cut back on everyone's food, and will physically reprimand them! I am currently deciding on who to make my victim to show what will happen to those who rise aginst me! The top Rockets will be chosen to be slavemasters, and will recieve extra pay and good treatment. Here are the slave masters:" he called out ten Rockets to be slavemasters, which could be heard over outraged voices. "By the way Giovanni, I remember what you did to William. I will smite you, later." these words left Giovanni in shock.

"Come in.' James said to the knock on his door. It had been 5 days since the takeover, and the weapon progress was very good. in emerged a woman, who's magenta hir was in tatters, her clothing filthy with grease and sweat, and her face covered by a welder's mask. She seemed familiar, and that wasn't the only thing. He remembered the INFERNO leader's face. It looked like a friend he knew so long ago...

"What happened to the James I used to know?" she asked. she removed her mask, and a vaguely familior face showed. "You weren't the intelligent, human,

romantic-at-heart somewhat cowardly man I used to know. You're a cunning, inhuman, heartless, fearless, evil beast."

His eyes showed white-hot rage. "Did you not see what I did to that poor fool? I will explain, then I will consider how I am to kill you. Yes, I am quite intelligent thank you. Inhuman am I? Do I not bleed if I am pricked? Do I look like a beast? I assure you I have a heart, but only the one that pumps blood. Thank you for complimenting me on my fearlessness. The James you knew died. He never existed. I will let you live, but bother me and I will have to take a while to think on how I am to kill you. Anyway, I don't have time to waste on a worm I don't know."

"I don't know anyone named Jessie! There was never a woman in my life by that name. Now go before I will beat you!" Jessie was hurt. James had denied his past, becoming an evil tyrant. She left crying. The minute the door turned, he saw him. It was his long lost friend, Johnathan!

"Maggot! I thought you were my friend! I now know it was you in the balloon bombing me, and you fired the shots at my Charizard! He is alive, but not happy!"

"A bit late for apologies, isn't it? My Charizard is now 50% mechanical, I am the freak that chased you in winter, and my life is ruined!"

"Scum! I would not have chased you had you done this to me! Look at you, you're zero respect for you, my family, and my so-called friends! To be honest so long as I'm alive and get what I want, to hell with everyone else! I don't really give a damn how much just as freakish as me! Torturing your fellow man, sickening. I have nothig more I wish to say to you." Incinerator lept from the window and left. Just then Giovanni came in.

"You said for the Gangwar duration! I'm exercising my right. Hell, maybe I'll keep it for as long as I damn well please! You know something, I used to respect you. I'll have people die in this war, as long as we win! If more casualities occur in my war to take over the island, so be it!" Giovanni stared at the man, who was once a coward, now an evil ringmaster, with Team Rocket as his own personal circus. He shook his head, praying that he may leave to see another day.....
