Flint and Ollie walked over to Prof. Oak's and went inside. As
soon as
they got inside they saw Gary Jr., Prof Oak's son. They'd known Gary
for a
while and they never liked him much. Why?
"Hey, losers!" said Gary to Flint and Ollie. "I just got a Charmander
from
my dad!" (that's why.)
"What?!" exclaimed Flint. "That's the one I wanted!"
"Well, it's mine now! Ha!"
Then Flint tried to charge towards Gary, but Ollie held him back.
"He's not worth it, Flint!" said Ollie.
"Let me at 'em!" yelled Flint.
"What seems to be the problem, boys?" said Prof Oak as he walked
up to the
boys.
Flint stopped and mumbled, "Nothing, sir."
"Well, I'm outta here. See ya, Pops," said Gary as he walked
out the door.
"My son acting like a jerk again?" asked Prof. Oak.
"I guess you could say that," replied Ollie.
"Yeah, I used to act like that to your father, Flint."
"Really?" asked Flint.
"We were bitter enemies. Now we're okay, though. So, which Pokemon
are you
two going to choose?"
"Well, I decided to choose Bulbasaur," said Ollie.
"Oh, I'm sorry. That's already been taken. But we do have a Geodude.
We've
got more Pokemon to start out with now that there are more kids in
Pallet
wanting to become trainers."
"Really?! I'm gonna choose Geodude then!"
"Okay, here he is," said Prof. Oak as he gave Ollie the Pokeball
with the
Geodude in it."
"All right!" Ollie called out Geodude.
"Geodude!" said Geodude as he came out of the ball.
"I'm your new trainer Geodude!" said Ollie as he hugged his new
Pokemon.
"So, Flint. Which one will you choose?" asked Prof. Oak.
"What are the choices?"
"Well," said Prof. Oak as he pulled down a chart. "We have a
Squirtle, and
a Psyduck left."
"I'll take... the Squirtle!"
Just when Prof. Oak was going to give Flint the Pokeball with
the
Squirtle, a kid ran in the room. "Can I have the Squirtle?! I've wanted
one
my whole life. I'm going to capture every Pokemon with my Squirtle!
It's my
very favorite!"
Prof Oak started to say something, but Flint cut him off. "Yeah,
there's a
Squirtle still here. You can have it."
The kid took the Squirtle, his Pokedex and Pokeballs that Prof.
Oak gave
him, and ran off on his own Pokemon journey.
Flint sighed. "So, all that there's left is a Psyduck?"
"Yes," Prof. Oak replied.
"Okay, I'll take it."
Flint and Ollie both got their Pokedex's and Pokeballs and went
outside,
where there families were waiting.
"Hi, honey!" said Misty as she hugged her son.
"Hey, buddy," said Ash. "What Pokemon did you get?"
"A Psyduck."
"Oh," said Misty. "I remember Psyduck. He gave me the biggest
headac-"
Ash cut her off. "Shh, Misty," he whispered.
"Oh, right. Well, Psyduck is a good Pokemon. He has some good
attacks,"
stated Misty.
"Okay," said Flint.
"I got a Geodude!" said Ollie to his dad, Brock.
"Hey, good choice! Geodude's good!" replied Brock.
Then Ash said to Flint, "Son, I want you to have this."
Ash gave Flint a hat.
"But, Dad, this is your Official Pokemon League hat. Are you
sure?" asked
Flint.
"Positive," said Ash as he put the hat on Flint.
Brock walked up to Flint and Ollie. "Now, boys, there aren't
just eight
gym leaders anymore. There are ten. You're Pokemon journey is going
to be a
lot longer than Ash's and mine."
Ash spoke up. "That's right. There are more cities to go into
now." He
gave them a map. "This will help."
"Thanks, Dad. Ollie, let's show them our Pokemon. Psyduck, come
out!" said
Flint as his Pokeball opened and Psyduck came out.
"Come out, Geodude!"
"Psy-duck!" said Psyduck.
"Geo-Geodude!" said Geodude.
"Well, here they are," stated Ollie.
Everybody said their goodbyes to Flint and Ollie, and they went
off to
start their Pokemon journey.
