Sarah handled the Pokeball as the helicopter landed on the rocky cliff-edge they were standing on. A tall, bald-headed man got out. "Sir!" She and Jean-Luc stood at attention while the helicopter headed back into the night sky.
The bald headed man walked over to the two of them. "Did you get your badges?" They both held up the Volcanobadge and the Cascadebadge, respectively. "Where's the third one of you?"
Derrick pulled himself up onto the cliff, exhausted from the climb up and holding the Boulderbadge. "Right here. That ground trainer of their's was giving me some trouble, so I gave him some back."
The man nodded. "Good work, all three of you. When we succeed, you will all get high positions in my Pokemon army. Because tonight," he paused for emphasis," is the night we take over the world."
A new person hopped onto the ledge. "Not if I can help it!" The light from the lanterns reflected off of his glasses.
Another trainer joined him. "You won't win tonight!"
The bald man laughed. "Two little kids like yourself don't stand a chance against us! Why even bother?"
One more trainer jumped in with the other two. "Because we're not just kids, sir! We're the Pokemon Task Force! We'll ask you once. Release Professor Oak and Encompass, and get out of here."
The old man smirked. "You're too late! I have in my control, the most powerful Pokemon in the world, and there's nothing you three children can do about it!"
Tony saw Encompass' Pokeball sitting on the ground with the three badges. He made a mad dash to get the Pokeball, but the Team Rocket members pushed him back. As he fell back, he hit the old man in the face with a fist. The man felt the part of his face and whipped out a Pokeball. "I have toyed with you long enough! It is time for you to feel the wrath of Giovanni! Nidoking, go!!" The huge Pokemon could barely fit on the ledge with them. "Nidoking, hold them tight!" The huge Pokemon grabbed the three trainers and held them. Giovanni went over and picked up the Pokeball. "The moon is high, and it is time for the unveiling." He picked up the badges, and held them as he held the Pokeball. "With these badges, I can control Encompass, and with this," he pulled out a Moon Stone, glistening in the moonlight, "I will empower it to take over the world for me! The time is here! Encompass!!! GO!!!!!!" Giovanni launched the Pokeball into the air, and time seemed to stand still as the ball flew, dropped to the ground, and clicked open, launching a blast of electricity upwards. The eletricity subsided, revealing a Butterfree. It flew up into the air and landed on Giovanni's shoulder. "Butterfree!" Giovanni gasped, and turned to the three trainers. "What is this? Some kind of joke?"
Suddenly, the bushes all around them exploded into policemen and women, with Professor Oak in the lead. "It's no joke, Giovanni! We finally have the drop on you for once! Go get him, guys!" The troop advanced.
Giovanni held up the Butterfree. "Your plan is working against you! Butterfree, Sleep Powder!" The Butterfree shot over the officers, emitting a sleeping powder. Slowly, they all dropped to the ground. "Now, Team Rocket, let's make our escape!"
He turned around, and the three trainers were standing in front of a sleeping Nidoking. "You're not getting away this time!"
He pulled out a small white ball. "You really have no experience with evil people like me, do you?" He threw the ball onto the ground, making a huge cloud of smoke.
As the smoke cleared, Giovanni was gone, but the three Team Rocket trainers were ready to fight. David led the charge. "Let's get them, guys!"
As soon as the trio were nearing the Team Rocket members, they yelled "Split!" and shot into different directions. Derrick dashed into the side of the mountain in a cave, and Ron followed. Jean-Luc slid down the side of the mountain, to the water, and got on his Lapras. Tony ran and jumped off of the cliff, heading toward the water. He hastily pulled out a Pokeball, and hit the water on his Lapras. Sarah pulled out a Pokeball on the side of the cliff, and launched it. "Charizard, go!!" David pulled out his own Charizard, and went after her into the night sky.
