Legal Junk: Of course I don't own the characters Ash, Misty, or Brock. I certainly don't

own Pokemon (Nintendo does)! I'm not even Japanese. However, I do own the rights to

using the word Riccochet with 2 Cs after the "RI" and I own Austin and Coolma as

characters. There, that's the last legal junk I'll ever do. Now for the 4th installation of

my fanfic.

Ash, Misty and Brock meet Austin and Coolma Part 4: Pokeparty at Parasol

** When we last left out heroes, they had just learned that the two boys that they had met were on the search of a missing Mewtwo. They also learned that they were actually secret agents working for their father's company. Now we return to find them in a local kariokie and dance club in Parasol City.

"So," Ash said, "This company your dad owns is a technology company?"

"Yea, they make all kinds of devices that can be used to catch, train, and battle pokemon." Austin explained to the group at the table in the Parasol Fever dance club.

"The only problem is that we are having trouble setting up offices and marketing on Indigo Island because Silph Co. has marked off it's territory and none of the stores will sell Ricctronics products.

"Oh," said Misty, "That must be tough, considering that pokemon trainers

normally never leave the island."

"Yea, but we have managed to market to tourists from the United States and

Japan who decide to move here or vacation here and would like pokemon of their own." Austin calmly explained.

The group had chosen the crowded club to talk because of the amount of noise there would be. A kariokie stage was next to the dance floor and some girls were trying to sing the song "Pokemon." The gang decided to listen.

"I want to be the very best! Like no one ever was! To catch them is my real test, to train them is my cause! Pokemon! I will travel across the land, searching far and wide! Each pokemon to understand, the power that's inside! Pokemon! Gotta' catch 'em! It's you and me, I know it's our destiny! Pokemon! Oooh, your my best friend in a world we must defend! Gotta' catch 'em, a heart so true, our courage will pull us through, you teach me and I'll teach you poooke-ee-moooonnnn! Gotta' catch 'em all! Pokemon!"

The audience applauded and the girls stepped off stage. It wasn't much of a dancing tune but it was a crowd favorite. The announcer shouted over the sound system that there would be a great pokemon grand prize for the winner of the kariokie competition: a Parasol City Racing Lapras.

"Aww, that's not worth it." grumbled Coolma.

Just then a phone rang. "Ring ring ring, ring ring ring, phonecall, phonecall!"

"Oh, where's the phone?" Austin jumped up and asked.

"I think I saw a phone over there." Brock answered, "Are you expecting a call?"

Austin didn't answer, he just ran to the videophones on the wall near the

bathroom. He found the one that was ringing and picked up the receiver. The screen flashed on and a older boy in a lab coat appeared.

"Austin, are you there?" the boy asked.

"It's me," said Austin, "hi Jeff, how's the lab?"

"Bad, real bad, just promise to get here within 24 hours." said Jeff.

"Why, what happened?" Austin asked.

"Welllll-we-I-dang-rrrrrrrrrrr-skshhhhhhsss..." the phone screen went haywire and shut off.

Austin felt deep fear in the pit of his stomach. He had to get to Cinnabar labs in time. He knew something was drastically wrong and he needed to help. Only one problem, there was no way they could travel to Cinnabar on Sloth, Coolma's Snorlax.

He ran back to the table and told the gang about the disrupted message. The group discussed the song they were going to do while two familiar people were up on the stage. One was a girl with red hair and the other was a boy with blue hair. They were trying to sing the "Poke-rap" but the crowd hated it because they kept forgetting the pokemon. The crowd was throwing cold slices of pizza and half empty cups of soda. Two huge bouncers then walked on stage and threw them off the stage and into the angry crowd as Meowth stood there shaking his head.

"Whoaaa! Jessie, this is cool, the crowd is going to catch us!"

"Shut up James you-oof!"

The crowd let them hit the floor, then jumped on them and beat them up. Some screaming "This is for rappers everywhere!"

The gang rushed outside and tried to look for someone to help them win the

kariokie. Their only chance was to find someone really good to sing for them. They were in panic.

"We gotta' split up and search." Austin said. "Misty, Brock, Coolma, you guys search out here. Ash, Pikachu, and I will look inside."

The team split up and rushed in different directions. When Ash got inside, he saw something that made him feel faint. The crowd was screaming someone's name and cheering for them. This was bad. The crowd cleared away and let the mystery person through. It was Gary! Ash turned red in anger. Misty, Brock, and Coolma skidded in because Pikachu had already signaled them to come inside. Misty and Brock's jaws both dropped.

"Who's that?" asked Coolma.

"Gary, he's Ash's rival." Brock said.

"Rival?" Austin said in disbelief. "Ash has a rival?"

"Yea! And he's Ash's worst enemy!" Misty fumed. "I hate him."

Ash joined the rest of the group near the door and watched Gary snatch the hope from them as he took his prize and walked out followed by his cheerleader fan club.

"Well, well, if it isn't little Ash. Haven't you got your volcano badge yet? And who are these new members of the moron patrol?" Gary sneered. "Sorry to take this but you know how it is when you're the best at everything. Wait, no you don't! Well, it'll be a long swim to Cinnabar. See ya losers."

"That Gary! He really thinks he's something!" Ash growled.

"Hey, why don't you just put the smack down on him and his cheerleader squad!?" Austin asked.

"No, he's too good, I'll lose." Ash whined.

"Listen! Stop downing yourself!" Austin nearly shouted. "Just have some

confidence in yourself unless you really are a looser."

"Hey, easy for you to say Austin! You don't need to put up with him!"

"I've put up with enough brats on Cinnabar who think they're all that. All you

have to do is take him on. Or are you a chicken?"

"That's it!" Ash said. "Do I have to prove it to you?!"

Ash ran out and after Gary's convertible as it rolled out of the parking lot. "Hey! Gary, how 'bout a pokemon battle for that Lapras?"

"Oh please Ashy boy, what will you bet on it?" Gary asked.

"I'll give you my league cap!" Ash replied.

"Your OFFICIAL Pokemon League cap?" Gary said stunned.

That cap is everything to Ash, and the only thing of Ash's possession that Gary had ever considered taking from him. Gary stopped his car and smiled.

"Okay, how about it, two on two." Gary grinned.

He hopped out of his convertible and reached for his pokemon.

"I hope you're ready for a world of pain shrimp! This will be a two on two battle!" Gary growled.

The battle started and Gary kissed his first pokeball. He threw it towards Ash. Ash tuned his hat backwards and launched his first pokemon.

"Pidgeotto! I choose you!"

Pidgeotto launched from his ball as Gary's ball opened to reveal- Ivysaur!

Pidgeotto dodged a tackle by Ivysaur. Ivysaur let out his vines and wrapped up Pidgeotto. Pidgeotto struggled and got his wings free.

"Pidgeotto! Use razor wind now!" Ash shouted.

"Pidgeotto! (Okay Ash, here goes!)"

Pidgeotto flapped his wings hard and blew up sand into the air. The stinging sand scratched up Ivysaur's body. Ivysaur was weakened. Pidgeotto flapped hard. By this time a whole crowd gathered around the face-off. Pidgeotto was badly injured from the crushing power of the vines, but flew as hard as he could. Ivysaur's body was slowly brought up off the ground. Ivysaur let go of Pidgeotto and shot the bird pokemon up into the air. The bird shot straight down in a dive-bomb.

"Come on Pidgeotto! Slam that Ivysaur" Ash called.

Pidgeotto raced towards the ground but was slapped away by Ivysaur's vines!

Pidgeotto crashed into the ground with force that knocked over Pikachu who had perched on Misty's head for a better view of the fight. Pidgeotto was knocked out.

"Return Pidgeotto!" Ash called and collected Pidgeotto in his ball. "Go

Pikachu!"

"Pikachu! Pika! (I'll show you! Stupid Ivysaur!)"

Pikachu ran at the Ivysaur, avoiding the vines whipping all around him. He tackled the Ivysaur and jumped back. The Ivysaur jumped to it's feet and charged. Pikachu dodged the tackle and used a thunder-shock to weaken it. The Ivysaur turned around and continued attacking.

"Hey, Jessie. Look at that kid's Pokemon!" James said.

"Yea, those must be strong!" Jessie replied.

"Listen, you two better steal it fast before that kid wins and leaves." Meowth hissed.

Meanwhile, Ivysaur had Pikachu cornered against a car. He wrapped up Pikachu in his vines and squeezed hard.

"Pikachu! Remember the battle with Bulbasaur!" Brock called.

"Pi-pika (That's it!)"

Pikachu powered up his electricity and used his thunder attack. The lightning bolts surged through the vines of the Ivysaur. The electricity reached Ivysaur and fried him to a crisp.

"What!!" Gary screamed. "How did you- No matter, I have one pokemon left! Ivysaur return!"

Gary kissed his second pokeball and threw it out. A burst of smoke erupted from a smoke-bomb thrown in by Team Rocket. The three rushed into the clearing and stole Gary's second pokemon. The smoke cleared and the three pokemon thieves stood there gawking at the pokemon James held in his hand.

"Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy" Jessie whined as she stared at the Electrode in James's

hands.

"Well, it looks like-" James said as the startled pokemon exploded. "-Team

Rocket's blasting off again!!"

The trio was launched twice as high as usual and disappeared into a cloud.

"No fair Ash!" Gary shouted. "Those two imbeciles stole my Electrode!"

"That means you forfeit!" Austin shouted. "Fair is fair!"

"Yea!" Coolma shouted. "So pay up!"

The crowd started yelling at Gary. They shouted for him to give up the Lapras

and take it like a man. Gary frowned and tossed the pokeball into Ash's hand and hopped into his car. His cheerleader fans stood around Brock.

"So, your Ash's strong friend?" one asked.

"Yea, well, I try to work out." Brock answered. he was in heaven, girls were talking to him.

"You're cute" another one said.

"Wh-why thank you." said Brock almost fainting.

By this time everyone had left the parking-lot. Gary sat impatiently in his sports car.

"Hurry up girls, we don't have all day!" Gary yelled impatiently.

The girls giggled and hopped in the car. Gary stomped on the gas and sped off.

"Wait, I still don't have your numbers!" Brock yelled. But it was no use.

The gang started off towards the docks. Ash looked at Misty and thought of a great idea.

"Here Misty, you can have my Lapras." Ash said and tossed the pokemon to

Misty.

"Oh, thank you Ash! Thank you thank you thank you!" Misty yelled and gave Ash a kiss on the cheek.

Ash blushed. Misty did too. Meanwhile Austin watched secretly with a smile on his face. He knew that increasing Ash's self confidence would do him good, he just didn't realize how much good."

The End...for now.
