Hi, my name is Jeff. I’m a Pok`emorph. What, you never heard of a Pok`emorph? Why I’m shocked! But not real shocked because we haven’t let the secret out to the world yet. Which is where our story starts.

Missingnos is another word you probably never heard of. They are a race of evil pok`emon that look like a mass of little black dots that can go into a pok`emon’s ear and into their brain and control them completely.

The only pok`emon they have taken control of so far are Ekans, Arboks, Koffings, Weezings, Scythers, Pincirs, and one Dragonite. They were first created by Team Rocket but then the Missingnos overtook Team Rocket. They have to go to an abandoned Team Rocket headquarters every three days to go swim in some sort of pool that has something there from the Team Rocket computers.

My friends and I fight them. "My friends" are Eric, our one and only leader; David, a very knowledgeable pok`emon trainer; Zack, a true warrior; Nick, who is always timid to go into battle and doesn’t really like fighting the Missingnos; and Mike--he’s stuck in morph. If you stay in morph for more than two hours, you stay forever. Mike is now an Ivysaur.

Eric and I were in the woods looking for new morphs. We are best friends and have been for a long time. We found Mike in the woods where he now lives.

"Hey guys!" Mike, who was on the trail in front of us, said.

"Hey Mike," Eric said, "We are looking for new morphs."

"Well, I’ll help you look." Mike said.

We were walking for a while and didn’t see anything. Until we came to a clearing where we saw a Hitmonchan and a Hitmonlee duking it out.

"We have to acquire those!" I practically yelled. They both turned and looked at us dazed for a second. Then they started to run away.

"Ivysaur!" Mike yelled and shot out two vines and wrapped one of them up in both. He brought them in closer to us. "Maybe this body can do some good." Mike laughed.

"Thanks Mike," Eric said, "I got the ‘lee." He put his hand on the Hitmonlee’s head/body. The Hitmonlee was trying to kick Eric before but now he stopped. He remained calm. "This will be useful." Eric said.

I did the same with the Hitmonchan. "Yeah, I think I’m gonna like this morph. Mike did a vine whip to the back of each of their heads and they fell out cold.

"Why’d you do that?!" I yelled at Mike.

"You didn’t want them attacking us did you?" Mike replied. I had nothing to say to that.

"Amazing!" A voice behind us said. We turned around to find out there was six girls standing behind us. They all had an equally surprised look on their face. They all had cool clothes on, mostly Old Navy, Abercrombie and Fitch, or American Eagle. Exactly the way Eric dresses except he wears guys’ clothes.

"There are others who can morph!" The lead one said.

"What?" Eric gasped, "You guys can morph pok`emon too?"

"Yes, I’m Erin. Hi! This is the rest of the Girl Power group, Jessica, Alecia, Emma, Laura, and Maggie." Erin told us all their names. I thought Alecia was cute.

"Do you girls fight the Missingnos?" Eric asked.

"No, we use the powers for fun! We’ve heard of the Missingnos but we never thought they would succeed in conquering the world." Jessica said. Eric, Mike, and I were shocked.

"What do you mean! They are getting stronger each day, unless we beat them they will conquer the world!" Mike practically screamed.

Girl Power looked like they didn’t even care. "You have someone stuck in Ivysaur morph?" Maggie asked. "How did that happen?"

"Our first battle. A hundred Scythers, Pinsirs, Ekans, Arboks, Koffings, and Weezings against us." I explained. "Then Giovanni, a Dragonite, came in and put him in wrap for two hours and he was trapped."

"Oh, I’m sorry. But, what morphs do you have?" Erin asked.

"I have a Charmeleon, an Onix, a Gastly, and now a Hitmonlee." Eric said.

"I have a Wartortle, a Cubone, a Beedrill, and a Hitmonchan." I said.

"Well, as I’m sure you figured we couldn’t have two groups of Pok`emorphs because there is a high chance of one of them getting exposed to the public. So, I guess you guys shouldn’t morph anymore." Erin said.

"What?! We are fighting the Missingnos, you shouldn’t morph anymore." Eric fought back.

"But we are much more experienced morphing," Jessica debated.

"There is one way to decide this, an ultimate battle."

Eric got on his game face. He is our leader after all.

"What are the terms?" Eric asked.

"Best out of three fights, six vs. six for each one. The first one is in the air, the second is under water, and the third is on land. One morph per person per fight."

"What about Mike?" I asked.

"Ivysaurs can swim for the water battle. And he could fly on someone’s back or something for the air battle." Emma thought.

"Okay! Sounds good. Let’s go Jeff and Mike, we need new morphs." Eric said. Later we met at my house while Mike informed everyone what happened.

"So, you guys all need water morphs." Mike wrapped up.

"The Pok`ezoo?" David asked. David’s mom works there so we get in free.

"Do they have enough variety?" Zack asked David.

"Yeah, they have plenty of variety. We have Staryus, Goldeens, Gyarados, and lots more.

"Let’s go then." Eric said. About an hour later we were behind the exhibits at the Pok`ezoo.

"Who’s first?" David asked.

"I will." Nick volunteered. We all went through the door and below us there was a pool of water that looked like a lake. David reached into his backpack and pulled out an apple. He threw it to the surface of the water and a pok`emon that looked like a sea horse emerged from the water.

"Horsea!" It cheerfully said. The Horsea swam over to us.

"He’s a cute little thing." Nick said. He put his hand on the Horsea’s head. The Horsea smiled and kind of fell asleep, the acquiring trance. Nick took his hand of the Horsea’s head.

"Horsea!" it said and jumped up and did a back flip in the air. We left the habitat. We walked a bit more down the hall.

"Stop here guys." We went inside another door and in this one there was a beach looking habitat and along the shoreline were Krabbys. David tried to put his hand on one of their backs but it snapped at his hand.

"Woah!" David yanked his hand back. "Mike, you take care of this." Mike crawled out of David’s backpack.

"Ivysaur!" Mike yelled at the Krabby.

"Krabby!" the Krabby screamed back. He charged at Mike and used guillotine on Mike. Mike was hurt as the claws tightened around his neck.

"Ivysaur!" Mike screamed and let loose stun spore. The Krabby let go of Mike and staggered back. Then Mike used razor leaf. Then he finished it off with sleep powder. Since it was asleep, David easily walked up and acquired it.

We walked down the hall a little bit longer. "Stop, guys." Eric said. "Look, an Eevee habitat. David, do you guys have stones in this zoo?"

"Yes, we need them to evolve pok`emon to make new exhibits." David responded.

"Why don’t Nick, Zack, and you go acquire one and then each of you evolve into Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon." Eric continued.

"That’s a good idea!" Nick said. We all went into the Eevee habitat. Eevees are happy creatures who were delighted to see us and ran up to greet us.

"Eevee!" They cheered. One jumped on Eric and started to lick his face.

I laughed "Looks like you have a new friend, Eric." I joked.

"Get down!" Eric said at the Eevee. The Eevee refused; instead it wrapped itself in Eric’s arms.

"Eevee." It cheerfully said. Eric sighed. David put his hand in Eric’s arms and acquired the Eevee. Nick and Zack each acquired one too.

"Time to get out of this habitat." Eric said. He put the Eevee down. He looked sad. "I’m sorry, but I can’t take you with me." Eric said to the Eevee. The Eevee looked like he was going to cry. We walked out of the habitat.

"Eevee!" it said. It had followed us outside the habitat. Eric sighed again.

"Let’s get the rest of our water morphs before we evolve you guys." I said. We stopped by another door.

"Okay, who wants a Staryu?" David asked.

"I do!" Eric almost screamed.

"Eevee!" the Eevee said. Everyone except for Eric sighed this time. Eric laughed.

"I’m starting to like him!" He said while laughing. He walked in and acquired a Staryu. There was no problem with anything.

"I’ll take a Tentacool, David." Zack said.

"That might be tricky, but we’ll try." David said. Later we were standing inside the Tentacool habitat. David has his hand under the water. Pretty soon… "Got one!" he yelped. The Tentacool flew out of the water and landed right in front of Eric.

The Tentacool shot some poison at Eric but he dodged.

"Morph!" I yelled.

"No, wait." Eric said, "Look." We looked down and saw the Eevee that was following Eric. It was growling and staring at the Tentacool. It was a pok`emon battle. "Go Eevee!" Eric yelled.

The Tentacool used acid and the poison was flying at Eevee. "Agility!" Eric yelled and Eevee dodged the acid. "Tackle!" Eevee tackled the Tentacool. The Tentacool was dazed. "Finish it off, Eevee use take down!" The Eevee charged full speed at the Tentacool and rammed it with his head.

The Tentacool flew into Zack’s arms and Zack acquired it. Then he threw it back into the water.

"Thanks Eevee!" Zack said then he petted it and Eric’s Eevee smiled in glory. We all laughed.

Later we were walking again in the hallway. I was the last one without a water morph.

"Jeff, you’re the last one without a water morph." Mike said.

"We have one more, and your in luck, it’s the best one." David said with a smile.

"What are you smiling for?" I asked. David looked suspicious.

"Oh, nothing." David responded. I knew he was lying. Later we were in a habitat and David blocked the sign that said what habitat we were in. David was trying to hold back a smile.

"WHAT IS WRONG HERE?!" I demanded of David.

"Nothing." David calmly said back. "Relax." He said slyly. He threw an apple at the top of the water. "Heeeerrrrrreeeee, pok`emon." David called.

"Psy!" The yellow Psyduck that came out of the water said to us.

"NO WAY!" I yelled at David. "Anything but Psyduck!" Everyone except me laughed. "It’s not funny, I’m not acquiring a Psyduck!" I continued my complaining. I looked over and saw Eric’s Eevee and the Psyduck having a conversion.

"Jeff, you don’t have a choice, it’s the only water morph left." David said.

"Come’on, there has to be something else." I begged.

"Nope, nothing." David told me.

"Oh man." I acquired the Psyduck. As we were leaving the habitat he started to follow me much like Eric’s Eevee did. "NO WAY YOU DUMB DUCK!" then I picked it up and threw it across the habitat, it landed in the water so it wasn’t hurt.

We ran out of there laughing.

"Let’s go to the evolutionary stone closet now." David said. So later we were looking in the stone closet. We found a firestone and a thunderstone we were just looking for a waterstone.

"There it is." Mike said and reached up with his vines to grab it. He handed it, er, vined it, to David. Meanwhile, Nick and David were already morphing to Eevees. I put the thunderstone on Zack’s head and Eric put the waterstone on Nick’s. Once David was done morphing, we put the firestone on his head.

Then we were standing in front of a Jolteon, a Flareon, and a Vaporeon. Eric’s Eevee started to talk to Zack, the Jolteon. "What’s he saying?" Eric asked Zack.

"He said hi." Zack said.

"Morph back guys." I said. We were about to leave then a guard stopped us.

"What are you doing with that Eevee son?" The guard asked.

"We were lost back there and then we stumbled into the Eevee habitat," Eric lied "Then he started to follow me. Next, we accidentally stumbled into the Tentacool habitat and one of them attacked me. Then this Eevee fought for me and it followed me here ever since."

"Well, looks like you have a new pet, son." The guard said.

"Really? I can keep it?" Eric said in disbelief.

"Yes, you can." The guard said.

"Eevee!" The Eevee said. Then it jumped up in Eric’s arms and licked his face.

"Thank you!" Eric told the guard. On the walk home we were deciding what to name Eric’s Eevee. I thought we should name it Chocolate. Eric on the other hand thought Brownie was a better name the Eevee seemed to say "Eevee!" when ever we said Brownie so his name was decide on Brownie. I still think Chocolate is better.

We were on the way the Eric’s dorm in Pok`emon college when we passed Rachel, Boris, and Lisa in the hallway. Rachel’s pet Mankey, Michael, was walking along side them just like Brownie.

"Eric, you got a pet Eevee!" Lisa said.

"Yeah, I know. How’s your Michael doing?" Eric asked Rachel.

"He is fine. He had a fought with a Scyther and a Pinsir yesterday. He beat them both though." Rachel said.

I noticed some rustling in her backpack. I figured she was trying to sneak in some more Pok`emon pets since the rule is only one per person in this college. I laughed inside, that was just like Rachel. I saw Zack blush, he had a HUGE crush on Rachel; I wasn’t sure how she felt about him. Eric and Rachel were always friends but not a couple or anything like that.

I said "We should all get together some time and do something."

"Yeah, that would be cool." Boris said.

"So, see you guys around some time." Nick said. We all said goodbye.

"Bye, Rachel." Zack said. Everyone except Zack laughed.

As soon as we walked in the door, Brownie ran right in and jumped on the bed.

"Welcome to your new home, Brownie!" Eric said. Then went up to his bed and sat down next to Brownie who was curled up in a ball almost asleep. Eric started to pet it.

"It’s getting late, maybe we should all go to bed. We need to rest up, the three battles are tomorrow." I said.

"Yeah, I’m getting tired." Nick said right before yawning. Everyone but Mike and I left the room. Mike didn’t because Eric sent him up a little nest type thing where he sleeps. I didn’t because I wanted to talk to Eric.

"Eric, I just realized something, if we lose tomorrow the whole world will be taken over by the Missingnos. Plus, we won’t be able to morph anymore." I said to Eric.

"Yeah, but that’s why we won’t lose tomorrow. We’ll try as hard as we can. There is no way we can lose." Eric said.

"I hope not. I don’t want to be stuck in Ivysaur morph when I can’t even go on missions." Mike said. I looked at the clock, it was past curfew, I couldn’t go back to my dorm.

"It’s past curfew, can I sleep here tonight?" I asked Eric.

"Yeah, sure. I’ll get out a sleeping bag." Eric responded. He went to the closet and pulled out a mattress, a sleeping bag and a pillow then handed it to me. I slept on that, Eric and Brownie slept in his bed, and Mike slept on the little bed that Eric made for him.

It was the day of the battle; we met Girl Power by the beach. We all morphed into our water morphs. It was the Pok`emorphs, Psyduck, Staryu, Ivysaur, Tentacool, Krabby, and Horsea vs. Girl Power, Shellder, Goldeen, Seel, Slowpoke, Kabuto, and Omanyte. We all morphed and dived into the water.

We all went to the left and Girl Power swam to the right.

"Let the battle begin!" Erin announced. Both teams swam right at each other. I swam head to head with the Seel, Emma. It passed by me but I used tail whip right before it could go by safely. I swam up to it faster than before. I scratched it before it could recover from the tail whip.

The Slowpoke, Jessica, came up and rammed me from behind to save her friend. "PSY!" I screamed out of pain. Then I rolled down the back of the Slowpoke and used hydro pump from behind. I saw Nick the Horsea use bubble over and over on Maggie and Laura, Kabuto and Omanyte.

Then they both swam up to him and used a very powerful slash. They cut him across the body and it was deep. "Guys! I’m hurt bad, I gotta pull out. Someone get the Omanyte and Kabuto for me." Nick said, then he swam away.

"Got you covered!" Mike said. Then he used razor leaf and it was very powerful because the leaves were very healthful since they were getting a lot of water. The Kabuto and Omanyte pulled out. The Seel swam up to Mike and used head butt on Mike and Emma’s horn dug deep into his head. "AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!" Mike screamed out of pain.

Mike extended his vines and wrapped them around the Seel’s neck and picked her up above water and threw her onto the shore. Seels can’t live on land so she quit. Mike then left too. Eric the Staryu used ice beam on Alecia the Goldeen but she ducked and it hit Nick.

Once Nick defrosted he caught frostbite and swam to shore to demorph. David swam up to Erin the Shellder and Erin closed her shell. David didn’t realize this so he tried to clamp her with his claws and cracked them on her hard shell. David left.

"Enough playing around!" Eric used spinning tackle on Jessica and chopped her tail off. She swam away in a hurry, which is surprising since she’s a Slowpoke.

"Your absolutely right, Eric." Erin said. Then she went up to Zack and used clamp and cut off all his tentacles.

"Sorry, I’m gone, man." Zack said. There were four of us left Eric and me vs. Erin and Alecia. I dove after Erin while Eric got Alecia. Erin used clamp on my tail then I turned and used hydro pump. As the water sprayed out of my hands in one, long, powerful blast, Alecia came and used horn attack on my back.

The horn was dug deep into my skin; I could feel it poking around inside me. I was bleeding, bad. I was hurt bad, I couldn’t go on. I noticed Eric swimming away too. Alecia had beat him. We had lost our first battle.

We were all in flying morphs in the air above Pok`emon College. If we lose this battle, that’s the end of mankind. It all came down to this. I was nervous. But we had good flying morphs. We had a Gastly, a Spearow, an Aerodactyl with an Ivysaur on his back, a Pidgey, and me, a Beedrill.

Girl Power had Erin as a Farfetch`d, Alecia was a Zubat, Emma was a Doduo, Jessica was a Magnemite, Maggie was a Butterfree, and Laura was a Venomoth. I started the battle earlier than I should have. I guess it was out of rage for the cheap shot Alecia put on me earlier.

I flew at her full speed and used fury attack.

"What the…?" Eric said. Then, "Attack!" Eric ordered.

"Starting so soon? Your eagerness will cost you your morphing ability!" Erin said out of rage at us. Then she dove straight at me. However, I knew not to make the same mistake again. She tried to slash me with her onions; I blocked with a stinger on my arm.

I knew that Erin and Alecia were gonna try the same thing on me again. So I gave Erin a couple of pin missiles then flew up in a hurry. I looked down and saw Alecia fly right at where I was a second ago with her fangs showing. The plan was for Erin to distract me while Alecia tried to bite from behind.

But since I wasn’t there any more, Erin was. Zubat can’t see, they only use echolocation, Alecia couldn’t shoot any sound waves so she didn’t know it was Erin she was biting. She just bit and bit and bit, harder and harder and harder. Combined with the attacks I gave Erin before hand, it took her out of the battle.

"Oh, no!" Alecia yelped, realizing her mistake. But, it was too late. I came on Alecia from above. This time I used horn attack and pinned her to the ground. She had a small hole in her. She demorphed quickly.

"Ivysaur!" Mike said. He used vine whip on Emma. But while they were attacking Emma, Laura came in and used psychic on David. Rock pok`emon are weak to psychic attacks and David went down, he took Mike with him. It was four on four.

Wait, where was Eric? All of the sudden powder came out of no where and it fell on Laura. She fell asleep and dropped like a rock. Eric was invisible and he was using sleep powder. Then he became visible again right next to Laura on the ground. He shrunk and went inside her head.

Laura awoke and started to jump and squirrel around uncontrollably. She was in pain, Eric must have been using dream eater. Once Eric got out of her head, she fell down and didn’t get up.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Eric laughed evilly. "No one can escape dream eater!" Eric continued. Then a thunder bolt hit him. He didn’t drop since he was already on the ground. But he was out of the fight. Jessica! She had used thunder bolt on Eric.

She was charging up to do it again to me but I hit her first with twin needle, Beedrill’s ultimate attack. She was out. I dove after Maggie. Butterfree vs. Beedrill had always been a classic rivalry. I tried to stick her with my stinger. She dodged and hit me with her wings once she was on the side of me. I reached my arm around the side and used poison sting, I kept it in.

Maggie was poisoned badly. She demorphed be fore it could affect her. I turned around and saw Venomoth was the only one left. She stood over a downed Spearow and Pidgey. She tried psychic on me. That doesn’t affect bugs.

She tried psywave, it had the same result. She tried psychic once more. I laughed, then I struck. I flew hard at her stingers first, she started to fly away. I was chasing her and gaining ground fast. Finally, my stingers hit skin.

She cried out in pain, she was not done yet though. So, I stuck her again, she was done this time. We had won our second battle. The next one would decide the winner. It was a land battle. One battle would decide the fate of mankind. We held that in our hands.

We were standing unmorphed in the clearing where Eric and David had a pok`emon battle before we found the Clefairy. Eric beat David then in a regular pok`emon battle, we were hoping our leader could pull of another home team win now.

"Guys, all of mankind rests in this battle. We can’t lose. We have the chance to go out there and fight like the whole world’s fate is on your shoulders, it pretty much is. Go out there and fight the hardest you’ve ever fought! And never, EVER, surrender. Fight to the very end." Eric said pumping us up.

"Are we gonna start this thing or what?" Erin asked. Eric said we are ready and all of us started to morph. We all morphed our new morphs. I was a Hitmonchan, Eric was Hitmonlee, Mike was an Ivysaur, Zack was a Jolteon, Flareon, and Nick was a Vaporeon. Erin was a Magmar, Alecia was an Electabuzz, Emma was an Oddish, Jessica was a Grimer, Maggie was a Drowzee, and Laura was a Kangaskhan.

Laura ran up to Eric and used comet punch to connect right with his stomach. Eric walked backward a little, then kicked her in the head. She dropped down hard. Eric started to kick her while she was down, once she got up he gave her a kick combo. She had enough of him and started after me.

She used take down on me. But as she charged with her head down, I gave that head a mega punch. Laura started to get real mad, and she used rage. She ran right over me. Then she ran over Nick, Mike, and Zack. Eric gave her a mega kick. Then Zack got up and gave her a pin missile that almost went through her head.

Our game plan was for everyone to focus on one person then we take them out one by one. Laura was passed out and bleeding from the head, clearly out of the fight. Next was Jessica, unfortunately Nick was taken out of the fight by Emma. So we had a change of plans and had David take her out of the fight. Then we went after Jessica.

"I got her guys! Get someone else." I said. I went one on one with her. She charged at me and used sludge on me, and then she used smog. The poison cloud finally reached me and that hurt a lot. I used ice punch on her, then a thunder punch, and I topped it off with fire punch. She quit the fight.

Erin the Magmar used flame-thrower on Mike and it set the bulbs on his head on fire. Nick put it out but Mike was out of the fight. Then Maggie and David started to fight each other Maggie sent out some psywaves while David unleashed a flame out his mouth. They both met each other and the flame was pushing the psywaves and then the opposite.

Neither one was winning until Alecia used thunder shock on David and he lost control of his flame and the psywave hit his head. He flew asleep, out cold. Zack used thunder bolt on Maggie and she used toxic on him. They knocked each other out of the fight.

Now ma and Eric led the attack against Erin and Alecia. This was just like the water battle.

"This time we’ll win!" I yelled at Erin and Alecia.

"I wouldn’t count on it kid." Erin said back. I dove after Alecia. The Electabuzz tried to zap me before I got to it. But I threw a combo of punches and connected to her jaw, her stomach, and her shoulder. She fell down but she used thunder punch, I also used thunder punch.

Thunder hit thunder and electric passed through both out bodies, it only hurt me since she was electric. I was jumping and squirming from the zap. Finally it stopped but I was burned too bad to continue. Eric would have to continue alone.

Alecia and Erin were in front of Eric. He was cowering away. Finally, he charged, Alecia and Erin were caught off guard. They thought Eric would play the defensive. Eric did a double kick and one kick hit each of them. They got up and they all three started a big melee.

There were fire punches, thunder punches, and mega kicks flying everywhere we couldn’t tell who was winning. Finally, Erin was ready to do a fire punch on one side of Eric and Alecia was ready to do it on the other side. Eric back-flipped out of the way and they both hit each other.

Erin and Alecia broke each other’s jaw. Before they fell Eric used a mega kick that hit both of them.

"No more!" Alecia cried in pain.

"We quit, you win!" Erin managed to say.

We didn’t hear from Girl Power for a few weeks. We had been fighting the Missingnos in small battles during those weeks, nothing major.

Finally, Eric and I saw Erin and Alecia at the Pok`emon Center in Cerulean City. This Pok`emon Center sells pok`emon merchandise so it’s really cool. Eric wasn’t looking; he was just there because I was. We saw Erin a few rows over looking at a Hypno hat and Raichu socks in disgust. We walked over to her.

"How are you doing Erin?" Eric asked. Erin motioned for Alecia to come over; she was a few rows over.

"Eric, we have to talk." Erin began the conversion. "We can’t stand not morphing, I know we made an agreement. But we had a fight about it and now the whole group is torn apart. Alecia and I are the only ones still friends." Erin pleaded.

"Erin, we had an agreement. It was your idea!" I said bluntly. I was furious.

"Wait a second Jeff. I have an idea." Eric said.

"You do? Can we morph again." Alecia said.

"No, but you can join us in the Pok`emorphs." Eric said. I couldn’t believe it. We were going to have two new members?

"Sure!" Alecia said. "Anything to morph again." I was glad. As you know I like Alecia as in like, like.

"What morphs do you have?" I asked.

"Well, I have Kadabra, Farfetch`d, Shellder, Magmar, and Ponyta." Erin said. I was impressed; they had some good morphs. Alecia said she had Nidorina, Goldeen, Zubat, Electabuzz, and Jigglypuff. We went to talk to the other guys and tell them we had some new members in Pok`emorphs.
